Woven Tropical Jungle Cushion

This tropical jungle cushion brings together a scarlet macaw, a toucan, a yellow-green parrot, and blue tropical birds across a warm ivory ground, surrounded by monstera leaves, pink orchids, and blue flower clusters. Every element on the surface is woven directly into the fabric through a multi-color jacquard weave. The color depth and figurative detail are structural qualities built into the cloth, not applied on top.

Craftsmanship and Details

Jacquard weaving constructs the image thread by thread directly into the cloth. This method allows for layered color transitions that printing cannot achieve, as each shade is an actual thread carried through the loom rather than ink applied on top.

The tropical subject matter is rendered with painterly precision: the feather gradients on the scarlet macaw, the deep blue-grey of the toucan body, and the translucent quality of the orchid petals are each the result of individual thread sequences, not color blending or printing. As a result, the surface retains its color depth and figurative clarity over time without fading or peeling.
The repeat composition is large and asymmetric, which means no two cushions cut from the same roll will frame the scene in exactly the same way. The edges are cleanly finished with a plain border that does not compete with the surface composition. One cover is included. No filler or insert.

Condition and Care

Gentle machine wash on cold setting or dry clean. Do not tumble dry at high heat. Iron on the reverse side only, on a low setting. No bleach or chemical cleaners.
