The botanical field fills the remaining surface with large green leaves, blue wisteria-like flower clusters, and pink flowering branches, all rendered in a loose painterly arrangement without a fixed center or repeating structure. Craftsmanship and Details

The birds, foliage, and flowers are woven directly into the fabric structure through the jacquard process. Because jacquard weaving assigns each color thread to a specific position across the loom width, the tonal gradation within the macaw plumage and the depth in the flower clusters are structural qualities of the fabric rather than printed or applied effects.

The loose, impressionistic character of the composition comes from thread placement rather than brushwork, which means the color transitions between the red and blue feathers and the surrounding botanical field are built into the weave itself. The red piping is hand-sewn along all four edges and matches the dominant color of the macaw. Not printed. The entire composition is woven directly into the fabric. Cover only. No filler or insert.

Condition and Care
